Bench plaque for Bobo
Bobo was an amazing son, brother, grandson, cousin, uncle and friend, he was kind, thoughtful, gifted with his bagpipe and football playing. He was quick witted and always full of laughter and devilment. Even through the most dreadful and difficult times of his illness he could always make us laugh, especially with his witty one liners.
The community of Carrbridge wanted to do something in memory of Bobo. In autumn of 2018 they opened the new play park which included a beautiful handmade bench by local Dougie Edwards. Thank you Dougie, Carrbridge Play Park Group and Carrbridge Ahead, the village community company. 💚
The playing fields bring back many memories for us of him playing football at soccer 7’s, first with his school Strathdearn Primary and then Carrbridge Primary. Running daily the mile with the school and hanging out with pals at the bike park. Because of these memories and the fun children, young and old, have there we thought this was perfect for the plaque.
